According to the Import-Export Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade), in July, Vietnam exported 196.5 thousand tons of rubber, equivalent to 319 million USD, up 5% in volume and 3% in value compared to June. This is the fourth month in a row, rubber exports go up.
Accumulated in the first 7 months of the year, rubber exports reached 984 thousand tons, equivalent to 1.7 billion USD, up 7% in volume and 9% in value over the same period in 2021.

In July, China was still Vietnam's largest rubber consuming market, accounting for 71% of the country's total rubber exports with 140 thousand tons, equivalent to $220 million, up 5% in volume and up 4% in value compared to June.
Accumulated in the first 7 months of the year, Vietnam exported 676 thousand tons of rubber to China, worth 1.1 billion USD, up 5% in volume and 8% in value over the same period in 2021.
According to the Import-Export Department, in recent months, China's rubber import demand tends to increase again, serving production.
However, China is still implementing the "Zero COVID" policy, so rubber exports to this country cannot make a leap.
While exports went up, the price of rubber for export in July decreased by 2% from the previous month and decreased by about 10% compared to April, to USD 1,623/ton. Accumulating 7 months, the average export price of rubber reached 1,727 USD/ton, slightly higher than the average price of the same period in 2021.
The drop in export rubber prices also pulled down rubber latex prices in the domestic market slightly. From the beginning of August, the price of raw rubber latex was purchased by Phu Rieng Rubber Company (Binh Phuoc) at 290-302 VND/degree TSC, down 5 VND/degree TSC compared to the end of July.
In Binh Duong, the purchasing price of raw rubber latex of Phuoc Hoa Rubber Company is at 306-308 VND/degree TSC, down 5 VND/degree TSC compared to the end of July.
Latex in Gia Lai was purchased by Mang Yang Rubber Company for 285-295 VND/degree TSC, stable compared to the end of July
