According to Statistics Malaysia, Malaysia's natural rubber production fell 10.3% to 31,795 tons in October 2022 from 35,460 tons in September 2022; down 26.3% from 43,127 tons in October 2021.

The average monthly price shows that concentrated rubber recorded a decrease of 2.2% to 466.42 sen/kg in October 2022 from 476.76 sen/kg the previous month, while scrap rubber increased 1.2% to 471.29 sen/kg from 465.86 sen/kg.

Prices of all Malaysian standard rubbers fell from 0.6% to 2.1%, The Star reported.

Vietnam is the second largest rubber supplier to China with $1.8 billion, up 6.6% over the same period in 2021.
