Rubber prices on the exchanges reversed to decrease due to the prospect of supply in major producing countries entering the harvest season. In the domestic market, the purchase price of rubber latex at major companies is currently unchanged.
World rubber prices
At the end of today's trading session, the June rubber futures price on the Shanghai Futures Exchange - China decreased by 0.84% (125 yuan) to 14,715 yuan/ton.
Similarly, the May rubber futures price on the OSE Exchange - Japan decreased by 0.5% (1.8 yen/kg) to 330 yen/kg.
In Thailand, the price of rubber futures for June delivery decreased by 1.1% (0.85 Baht) to 75.44 Baht/kg.
On the SGX - Singapore exchange, the price of rubber contracts for June 2025 decreased by 0.30 cents to 172.20 cents/kg.
Domestic rubber prices
In the domestic market, the purchase price of rubber latex at enterprises remained stable. Specifically, Phu Rieng Rubber Company purchased latex at 440 VND/TSC/kg; mixed latex at 400 VND/DRC/kg.
The purchase price of water latex at Binh Long Rubber Company is 386 - 396 VND/TSC/kg; mixed latex with DRC 60% is 14,000 VND/kg.
Ba Ria Rubber Company purchases level 1 water latex at 452 VND/TSC/kg for TSC 30 or higher; level 2 at 447 VND/TSC/kg for TSC 25 to under 30; level 3 at 442 VND/TSC/kg for TSC 20 to under 25.
Cup latex, coagulated latex with DRC ≥ 50% is 18,000 VND/kg; cup latex, coagulated latex with DRC 45-50% is 16,700 VND/kg; coagulated latex with DRC from 35 - 45% at 13,500 VND/kg.
Mang Yang Rubber Company, the purchase price of latex decreased by 18.5 VND, currently fluctuating between 397 - 401 VND/TSC, depending on the type. Accordingly, grade 1 latex is at 401 VND/TSC/kg; grade 2 latex is at 397 VND/TSC/kg.
Grade 1 mixed latex is at 409 VND/DRC/kg; grade 2 mixed latex is at 359 VND/DRC/kg.
