The Vietnam Pepper and Spice Association (VPSA) currently estimates that this year's pepper output will continue to decrease to only about 170,000 tons, the lowest level in the last 5 years. Global pepper production in 2024 is expected to reach about 465,000 tons, down 1.2% compared to last year.
